Neeraj Chopra Shines in Paris 2024 Olympics Javelin Qualification

Defending champion Neeraj Chopra stormed into the men’s javelin throw final at Paris 2024 with an incredible 89.34m throw on his first attempt. –

Neeraj's throw was the second-best of his career, just shy of his personal best and the national record of 89.94m.

Neeraj faces stiff competition in the final from Germany's Julian Weber (87.76m) and Grenada's Anderson Peters (88.63m).

Czech Republic's Jakub Vadlejch and Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem also qualified with impressive throws of 85.63m and 86.59m, respectively.

Neeraj is competing in his second Olympics after winning gold in Tokyo 2020 with an 87.58m throw.

The men's javelin throw final is scheduled for August 8 at the Stade de France. Can Neeraj bring home another gold
